I got these at target. This one resemebled pyote so i got it. When i saw this bunch i was thinking the far left one could be puruvian torch. Then i got this one just incase it could be an active. Please ID. and the second pic really is peruvain torch what should i do to it? seperate it into what and what conditions and shit. Thanks.
it sure does. good job bro. I would just transplant into a bigger pot. It grows all by itself just fine. regular potting soil whatever. shady areas bring out the dark green alkaloids. you could even cut the top off and plant that. It will force the stalk to grow buds off the sides or out the bottom. the plant grows pretty good. I watch em all the time. you have a few years before you can harvest a feast from that though bro.
It's T.peruvianus (peruvian torch). The width shape size and number of the points (the v shaped bits where the spikes come out) look extremely like the Trichocereus genus. If it turns out not to be active its still a nice looking cactus.
Hey, the top one (that you say resembles a peyote) is actually Echinopsis subdenudatum. Which means its closely related to San Pedro, Peruvian Torch etc.....but not active. Im not sure what the last one is but im pretty sure its not from any of the active genus.
None of those look active, sorry. The one you think may be T. Peruvianus could possibly be active...but it isn't T. Peruvianus.
