    thin skinned?
    nobody is thin skinned
but all you ever fucking do is attack

under constasnt attack the thickest skins wear thin

sooner or later ppl want nothing to do with ya

when have we ever had a "spirited debate" ive tried
insults and saccusations and waves of negativity are not debates

you say the most unrainbow shit of anyone, yet any deviation from the typical rainbow norm and your the 1st to say "how rainbow of you"
youve even hid from rainbow the past, how many years?
and encourasged others to do the same

    youve become a troll
you laugh at everyone getting pissed at you
    typical troll mentality
doesnt matter if noones laughing at your antics, as long ad yopiur entertained ...

    pathetic

This is a very unpleasantly ironic thread.

I humbly and respectfully suggest that anyone who has been overtly aggressive and/or insulting sincerely apologize. There's nothing wrong with debate or holding differing views, but I'm seeing a lot of ad hominem and very little discussion.

Please don't take this post as condescending. I promise you my intentions are 100% positive.

    With respect and love,
    Aldousage

it happens alot in some threads when some ppl post
srry u hadto read it..sorry i hadto too

    back on track
i love the efforts scrolls putting into this, i coppied it to b discusd at our annusal picnic, unfortunaytely it will be the 1st i miss in bout 25 years cause moving..but im gonna try startin up potlucks there when settled
karin seems to have covered most of the basics except water protection and cleanup
i think were fairly good on cleanup but could improve wate protection slightly
but it definbately couldn't hurt to add those in for the benifit of 1st timers

everywhere theres a rainbow theres another rainbow trying to uncover the rainbow within them

wherever you are, if you announce a potluck or drum circle ppl will come..eventualy
it takes us awhile to find eachother
very few rainbows are born rainbows (at least born knowing we are) and take time to discover family

its easier when family meet somewhere all the time and know where to go

pick a park, any park and announce a picnic or drum circle
then jusytt be determined to sit there aloner till your joined by others
sooner or later a crowd will form

Well, I've got something to say about this whole non-violent persons being acceptable but nothing about those in need of healing...so what, screw someone with a heart so heavy that they respond with violent actions? Hmmmm, well that sure would have discounted a whole lot of folks who have healed thru their attendance at Gatherings...so maybe brother Fillippe should have never gone to a Gathering, he had violence in his heart when he first came Home...How about Iron Warrior? What about ME!!!!!! Man, it is so crappy to be getting into this whole Rainbow natzism of who should & shouldn't be allowed at Gatherings...Violence is an ACTION, not a personality defect and the ACTION should be addressed; NO ONE (belly button or not) should be excluded & if they are, then it isn't a Rainbow Gathering!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and that is exactly how I feel about that!

(ps. but those in need of great healing can & should be escorted)

I think everyone just wants good, positive vibes at the Gathering. Violence is straight up bad vibes.

Remember The Fire in Wyoming? And remember USFuSs having the only chainsaws on site? Let's not make that mistake again!

Actually, there were a great many complaints about a couple of Rainbow chainsaws near bus village during seed camp, me'n'JuJu heard them(both the complaints & the chainsaws), but they never showed up for the Fire. Sure woulda been better if they had...it's really hard to get buckets of water to the top of the 60-80 ft pines and the helicopter air buckets don't always have the best aim.

Very good point. Maybe this subject should be presented at counsel? I will try to remember to do this. Thank you for your vision on this as healing is a very important aspect of the gathering...

I guess what I really wanted to comment on is A-Camp, and I would suggest that we do what occurred in Ocala a few years back, when Luke was still around. There was an actual bar at A-Camp, but every one going to the bar for booze was also given an herbal cigarette. A Camp was relatively mellow that year.

Sorry 'bout the bit of a rant there...been getting hit with similar posts in several places.

Bringing up way to discourage unfavorable actions at counsel would be good. Lots of herbal cigs at the bar would be good, too. More folks plugging into parking & front gate would help a lot. If all the people who have voiced complaints on the net would volunteer 6 hours to working the front gate & parking, there would be a lot less to complain about. It would also help a lot if folks remember that everyone is Shanti Sena...if you see someone acting odd, stop and talk to them, see whats up...hear a yell from a camp that sounds unhappy, go check it out...it doesn't talk an Elder to call a Shanti Sena counsel, all it takes are 3 concerned individuals.

ANother way to spread the word on a wider scale about the traditional rainbow ways and bridge the gaps between the rainbows & drainbows could be Youtube... Im sure you've all seen the videos on there...Is it bad to assume that everyone uses Youtube? IDK! Someone could videos tape one of these events and put it on Youtube. It would show old family & Newbies who dont have these focalizer or potlucks in their areas the direction for WY! ANd also inspire others to organize things in their areas to help heal the situations in the family as far as the old ways and tradition. I think this would be effective! What about everyone else?
