recent pics of my dreads....

not sure if they are 5 or 6 months old :-/ not really been keeping count, but i think its in between there.

here are a few pics I took today, my hair is shrinking alot lately and still lots and lots of loopies. gota love the loopies, Im getting a few fatties too, my dreads started out very thin, but some of my beads have actually broken where the dreads are getting fatter.....need more beads.

Im so glad that I never touched wax, I get alot of pressure from people saying i need to use some kinda product on my hair to tame it.

Im pleased that I have continued to leave my hair untouched since the first backcombing.

I got a crafter to trade a hat with some beads so all is good. my dreads used to be 4.5 -5 mm they are now prob more along the 5.5-6mm beads

 

They look great!

Though I always assumed that beads just slowed the process down?

your a wild untamed spirit.. your dreads are untamed as well, they suite you..

I wouldnt dare touch any products, to me that would be going against the reason I got dreadlocks!

Im very against any type of product.

my oldest dreads were all strarted just by forcing on some beads
noi sectioning no backcombing no anything just stuck on a few beads and let it go
