So an interesting fact that I am honestly surprised isn't taught in highschool history or government courses: The entire Bush family was tied to the attempted assassination of Ronald Reagan. How do you guys feel about this?
Wow. Your right, I mean we havent heard anything about that at school. How are they tied in AND how do you know?
http://www.angelfire.com/d20/philadelphians/nynuked.html Not the most official of sites, but if you search, "Neil Bush scott hinckley dinner", you'll find plenty of information. Essentially Neil Bush was scheduled to have dinner with the brother of the man that shot Reagan, on the night that it happened. Furthermore Neil Bush and John Hinckley Jr lived in Lubbock, Texas during the same time periods some years before and both Bush brothers when asked if they had personal dealings with Hinkckley stated that it was "conceivable, but we are unable to recall". An obvious "politician's yes".
I followed the link Secret US Forces Plan to Ignite Nuclear Bomb in NY under an ad for some christian organization
ahahahah. no, really, he coulda just really hated "that fucker" and decided to kill him. though i suppose the TOTAL lack of success IS a big point in favor of the "evidence" that the bushes planned it.
Fine, I will find more reliable sources. You people are a tough crowd for some bored folks sitting at a pc..... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Hinckley,_Jr. 'According to the March 31st, 1981, edition of the Houston Post, and reported by AP, UPI, NBC News and Newsweek, Hinckley is the son of one of George H.W. Bush's political and financial supporters in his 1980 presidential primary campaign against Ronald Reagan; John Hinckley Jr.'s elder brother, Scott Hinckley, and Vice President Bush's son Neil Bush had a dinner appointment scheduled for the next day.[4] Associated Press published the following short note on March 31st, 1981: 'The family of the man charged with trying to assassinate President Reagan is acquainted with the family of Vice-President George Bush and had made large contributions to his political campaign ... Scott Hinckley, brother of John W. Hinckley Jr. was to have dined tonight in Denver at the home of Neil Bush, one of the Vice-President's sons ... The Houston Post said it was unable to reach Scott Hinckley, vice-president of his father's Denver-based firm, Vanderbilt Energy Corporation, for comment. Neil Bush lives in Denver, where he works for Standard Oil Company of Indiana. In 1978, Neil Bush served as campaign manager for his brother, George W. Bush, the Vice-President's eldest son, who made an unsuccessful bid for Congress. Neil lived in Lubbock, Texas, throughout much of 1978, where John Hinckley lived from 1974 through 1980.'"
That's part of why I've never gone in there. Though I think more than ever, it wouldn't be a problem, really. That and I really can't hang with people who actually know their shit. I just read tid-bits here and there, and many of my ideas are comprised from far less information than gut feeling and logic etc. I base a lot of my opinions on the fact that I feel I read peoples motives etc very well based on situation and my limited knowledge. I'd probably end up cowering in the corner like I was in a room full of wolverines on angel dust.....
