Help! I love getting baked and everything but the only problem is that i munch out all the time! and not to mention I'm also gaining weight! and tips??
eat a sufficient amount of food BEFORE smoking, then resist. its pretty easy for me. may be hard for u, but i trust you can hold back. you dont need the food!
even if i eat before i smoke i still want to eat more and more afterwards. i don't care though but it does get annoying sometimes going back and forth to the kitchen every once in awhile.
Wow, I haven't really experienced the munchies that bad ever. I mean, I do have an increased urge to eat when stoned, but I can usually control how much I eat... However, I do get the pasties really bad and I can stop drinking water, juice, milk, beers
Well doesn't weed speed up your metabolism which is why you get more hungry? that's what I thought, at least.. so just eat a little bit and you sohuldnt be too hungry a lot of it is a mental thing i think, like you think you should be really hungry so you just eat a lot. I eat a shitload when I'm high too, though. lucky for me i can't gain weight even when I try..
Try different types of strains out. Try a sativa dominant then an indica dominant. Try outdoor, hyge, indoor.. see what, if any gives you less munchies. Every strain gives you a different high and also affects you differently. Also when you eat, don't munch it down as fast as you can. You might be eating faster than your body has time to tell you its full. Many people smoke to slow down, relax and enjoy life.. no reason you shouldn't slow down, relax and enjoy every bite of your meal after smoking a nice J either . Drink plenty of liquids as well (water). This will also help with your metabolism and help get those extra pounds. This is also off topic, but spit instead of swallowing whenever you think of it. Your saliva that is lol. That is also another little tip to help lose a few quick pounds. Might form a bad habit though.. Anyways hope this helps! TiCkEr
ma i feel your pain im almost 135 now and at 5'4 thats pretty bad i think the best way to not munch out is to not have anything in your house to munch on it keeps me from eating alot
de work out when you get stoned it will make you not want to eat and you will get a better body in the process thc works by lowering your blood pressure thats why you get the munchies but they are called the munchies as in you eat only a little bit plus if you eat too much it will bring your high down fast and make you even more sleepy so then you go to sleep and all that food you just ate turns into fat instead of getting burned off like it supposed too
Do something to take your mind off of eating. If you play an instrument, play that (write a song). Listen to music. Talk to someone. Watch a movie. Etc.
I heard something like weed stimulated the same part of your brain that affects your appetite. True or not, try and believe this and it might help regulate your munchies.
drink water or tea. it helps to fill that urge without a ton of calories. currently, i smoke so that i do get hungry, i have hyperthyroidism so my metabolism is so fast, i cant eat enough food. but enough about me just hope you don't ever have thyroid problems. actually though, you might want to get checked out for that sort of thing. the opposite of what i have (hypothyroidism) can cause significant weight gain, its a tempermental gland. so, long story shortened for community approval, and attention span: drink water, eat healthy, fibrous munchies, and walk (biking could be dangerous in a high state) when you get back from the walk, you will be less high, and your hunger will be appropriate because of the exercise. its ALL about training your body. teach your body that STONED ≠ FOOD EXERCISE = FOOD
fuck exercise seriously i just never let my self have any money for food and keep only healthy munchies around the house (just ate some rasin bran) and i stay around avrg for my height
instead of eatin like shitty food when you get the munchies like chips or sumthin eat like an apple or a banna or sum kind of fruit, sumthin good for u
^ haha. well i think if you are healthy other wise it's okay to eat chips and stuff once in a while. bananas and apples get boring after a while... just remember that the more you eat the less high you are getting because eating brings down your high, so try not to eat too much. (i just realised i already posted on this but oh well)
