Many Americans believe that their country is at war with Iraq simply to steal their oil. What they don't understand is exactly how this oil is being stolen. Do some here believe that notion? What information did they rely on to come to that conclusion? Please post facts and links so that others here can learn how the US is stealing Iraqi oil.

Oil is only a mere fraction of the reason we're there. It's all about standardizing the region and placing it under Western, Anglo-American control. Do you think they want the oil so they can provide Americans with cheaper oil? No, they want to be able to better control the flow of the oil. That why they can more easily limit the supply and jack up the prices even more.

Why do you think we're there, Wacky? To stop al-Qaeda?

What do you think is the reason for the massive and permanent military bases being built all over the country? It's because Iraq is to be used as a strategic base for launching more attacks on Iraq's neighboring countries.

A staging area for the US military units that will likely remain there as a security force.

Does it really matter what she is? They're all the same anyway.

Controlling the oil resources of the area may be more important to globalists at the moment than actually producing it.

I still have questions as to why someone our government came out against was made Oil Minister in 2005.

I wonder where all the oil that was to pay for this war is right now and why we aren't asking that of our administration. And I continue to wonder why Chalabi seems to continue under the radar.

Because of the current security cock-up in Iraq, the only viable means of exporting oil is through the blackmarket, through Basra, by boat.
control of this black market oil is a major cause for concern in Iraq, they just had that whole giant battle that pretty much proved Iran will be the dominant force in Iraq, not the United States (but that's another post).

So i think that while we woud like to steal their oil, and hope that the security improves to a point that we can, at the current moment it's more or less impossible.

It appears as though it continues to go up in flames over there.

So far we have come up with about seven ways of avoiding the question, and zero ways of answering it.

So I guess it had been proved. "War for Oil" is an empty slogan.
