Ok i know this is suck a typical question to ask but does it hurt to get your lip pierced? Ive been wanting to get it for awhile now but havent had to courage to do it. But please be honest... i think im ok with the pain, but the needle freaks the shit outta me lol.. tell me
depends on how much you can handle pain. im pretty good with it and it still hurt. the day after was worse then the night i got it. you'll probably bite it a lot on accident and that REALLY sucks. but seriously the day after sucked for me. i could barely talk. i don't think i would do it again though. just close your eyes and don't look at the needle and before you know it it'll be over =]
it only hurts for about three seconds, and actually the clamp is probably more uncomfortable than the actual piercing. the real bitch is eating the next day. that probably hurt more than the actual piercing. dont worry about it cuz blunts are still fifty cents
Of course when anyone shoves a needle through your flesh it's gonna hurt, but I wouldn't say it's painful. And if it's the needle that bothers you, just close your eyes til the piercer says done!
Its not so much the pain of getting it done, it more the pain from swelling and it healing itself, if you want a lip piercing then this shouldn't bother you. Like with any piercing if you look after it and clean it well then it'll heal quicker ie not so much pain. I'd suggest getting a labret if your going for a lip piercing as there will be less pressure on the piercing, and also allows for swelling to occur. Good luck with it, it'll looks wicked. No pain, no gain!!!
Wow. thanks for the advise guys. Ive heard a lot of things but for some reason i think that the advise from people i dont know helps a lot more, because they arnt trying to necessarily convince me to get it or anything.
hahaha...I did it to myself a couple years ago, just to see if it would hurt. I did a few piercings like that. I had no intention of keeping it in. I have a really high pain tolerance, but no it didn't really hurt. But I do get a rush from doing things like that.

Pretty much all piercings are gonna hurt in sum way. If your good with pain then it wont faze you, if your not it could hurt a bit.
Its quick. My labret piercing hurt more than my navel.. made me tear up a bit.-facial piercing more nerve endings.. and yeah, eating the next day was a bitch. ..but it wasn't bad, quick. A good comparison (for me keeping in mind people have different pain tolerances) is a wasp sting,even the pain for the rest of the day of feels like the day of a wasp sting.
