I've pretty much decided if McCain/Rice are together and win in the election I'm probably going to seriously consider moving to a different country.. I know my whole life iv'e heard people say "if you don't like it leave." ok i don't like it so i want to leave. espcially if it comes down to another republican winning.

anyone have reccomendations? Canada, U.K, Netherlands? i mean i know nowhere is going to be as "free" as America but i mean people live in Canada, Great Britain, etc are doing ok. i should live somewhere neutral and where i don't have to worry about getting abducted, shot or any of that when i go out and run errends..

does anyone else feel this way?

No one, and I repeat... NO ONE is going to shoot you, abduct you, or do anything to you in some town in Illinois if McCain wins. If you're worried about getting your shit fucked up, then you should be wary of moving to Europe, which dislikes Americans in general and has a whole lot of Arabs (plus, life's more expensive there and you will not be able to move there this early in your life unless you're awfully rich).

Be happy that you live in America and not in the Congo or some place like that. It's sad to see an American undermine how fortunate they are to be a citizen of this country. This is one of the only countries in the world where a person truly does have the opportunity to make something out of themselves... whether that person wants to be a millionaire businessman or just a hermit in the woods. People flock to this country for a reason... try to enjoy these freedoms and opportunities instead of distracting yourself from them with thoughts of departing.

Jamaica is a wonderful country... land is cheap, and the locals are so friendly... I'm not talking about the tourist town locals... Im talking about the South Coast/ inland locals... so nice... most are devoutly religious..

Also, the currency exchange is great... a middle class American is a fairly wealthy Jamaican.

I've lived in Canada, the US (east and west coast), Europe (two countries) and Asia. Living abroad has been great, gives you some great perspective on the US of A.

But I wouldn't focus on the negatives - move somewhere for a positive reason. What do you like? What do you want to do? There's a whole world out there, you really could go almost anywhere you wanted to.
