"Ingemisco tamquam reus" from the Verdi Requiem. Any number of things from the Mozart Requiem. "Nun Mi Tema" from Verdi's Otello. The last sung notes in Puccini's La Boheme: Mi-Miiiiiiiiii; Mi-Miiiiiiiii. Music that stares mortality squarely in the face and makes something uncommonly beautiful of it.

hmm... nothing really brings me to tears that much since I don't cry much. When I was little I remember the song Dapple Rose by Slade made me cry a lot, but I loved listening to it so much.

... I was once sensitive many years ago.

There are a few songs but usually because they are associated with a certian person or period in my life thats sad. The top 2 are both by Gov't Mule the first being thier remake of "Waisted Time" if you have not heard this then well you suck at life and should go look it up or just kill yourself now. 2nd is Sepreate reality ALSO by Gov't Mule, and if you haven't heard this one then not only should you kill yourself but you should kill your whole family FIRST effectivly killing a music tasteless blood line.

    I've been there...

Doesn't even have to be anything really sad per se... just emotional... Like Kory Clarke (Warrior Soul - not the dipshit from AI)... He sings with such emotion, I don't care how messed up in the head he is.

And guitar soloists such as Marty Friedman get to me sometimes too...

The Lark ascending - Ralph Vaughan williams

this probably means nothing to most though.Music means different things to different people for different reasons.

I still urge you to give it a chance. Its quite a popular piece of music. Its incredibly intense, even more so on vinyl.

we are all incredibly lucky to live in a world where there is so much music :D

The Ice Dance Grand Finale from Edward Scissorhands has always given me a breakdown. Little boys have the most beautiful voices, and Danny Elfman used them well in his composition. The man is magical.

I really like this song too, especially the part where he sings:

    Devotion eludes
    And in sadness I lumber
In my own ashes I am standing without a soul

It doesn't make my cry but it does hit my heart every time.

Most Tool songs make me feel powerful emotions. So do a few Coheed and Cambria songs like The Crowing, The Light and the Glass, and Mother Superior.
