You just put one dread over another, one left, one right, one left, one right.

 

My friend wanted me to make her single dreadlock longer, because it shrunk so much, so I used some yakhair to make hers longer:


Then we got some hair left and I had a few short dreadies which I made longer too:

This was a year ago:


And made it longer yesterday:

 

And another one a year ago:



And now:


And had some hair left to make a very long dready:

Awww... very pretty!! But one over the other?? Need more info! Is it like a french braid... do you incorporate other dreads once you start one over the other? or do you let some just hang down the middle???

 

the yak hair is a cool idea! i have a few strangely short dreads that need something done to em really. that may be a plan..

no it's not like a french braid. It's only laying them over each other, the other dreads just lie beneath.

 

I love that braid! i also couldn't help but notice the hookah in the mirror, rock on!
