all i'm saying is soy should not be in my damn tuna...or soups, or sauces...or anything else the school serves me.
Oh, man I love tofu in soups. The cream corn Cantonese kind. Or Buddhist Delight with that spongy tofu. Why on earth would someone put tofu in tuna? I fail to see the point there.
Oh yeah, they're putting it in EVERYTHING now. Pretty much anything that's processed contains soy ingredients. This explains why girls are developing much earlier, while boys are becoming more feminine.
I fail to see why they put a lot of things they put into food these days. But they do, and rest assured there are reasons for it. Not good reasons, but reasons nonetheless.
actually, you need to combine beans with rice to get the full protein potential from them. still, yeah, soy is put in a whole lotta stuff. this makes trouble for me because kai gets vicious runs from soy.
What's wrong with soybeans? I've worked to cultivate soybeans. They're very easy to maintain, you don't have to spray the fields with pesticides at all if you want to grow them.
Soy can also cause weight gain, as I read in a recent article... and most people who say they dont like soy are actually consuming it unknowingly. And I'm vegan and get my protein from far better sources than soy, besides the whole protein myth is ridiculous, there's protein in so many foods, dark leafy grains, nuts and seeds are easy to consume and there's absolutely no need for soy.
well, there's a lot of us who can't eat a lot of soy, nuts and such. for those who can't consume soy, certain nuts are typically okay. i think it's the human boy adjustment. but beans i can eat like crazy and never suffer, not even the gas. i chew very well.
Yeah, because most of them are GMO and are insect-resistant -- they make their own pesticides. And if you read the information I provided, then you would know what's wrong with soybeans. There are a lot of things wrong with them. So finding out what's wrong with them is really just a matter of doing a little research.
Tofu is good...in small quantities for me. I'm a vegan and I used to eat a lot of soy products. Now I really just like eating fresh fruits, veggies, nuts, black beans, quinoa, cous cous...I'm over highly processed foods. They make me feel really crappy. I love the way I feel after eating a nice sized salad with all the fixings topped with a little oil and balsamic vinegar. There are much better choices out there for vegans and vegetarians BESIDES tofu...
I eat tofu in small quantities. It is organic, non GMO, etc. I am thinking of going back to meat. Maybe organic once or twice a week. I have a healthy diet. Usually, my tofu is sauteed in so many veggies, spices and sauces that it isn't even really tofu anymore. But again, if you get tofu, get the non processed organic kind with no GMO materials. That is fine for you in moderation. Other than that it is just fruits, veggies, rice, beans/lentils, cheese, eggs bread and spices and herbs for me.
