You had to kinda figure that. Most star athletes have clauses in their contracts that forbid them from doing real dangerous things; these teams have millions and millions of dollars riding on them.

There used to be a show called That's Incredible. Some guy jumped over a car coming at him at about 80 mph. He jumped a little late and his foot smashed the windshield. The windshield also smashed most of the bones in his foot. Don't know whatever happened to him, but he had a large cast and would have been lucky to even walk normally again.
