well. im getting a new tattoo with my friends. prolly within the next week. we all wanna get something different, but we all def wanna get one together. i was thinking of getting something pretty decently big on the inside of my right bicep. i got a few ideas myself, but then i thought that since delics have been such a big part of how i came to be the person i am, maybe itd be cool to get a nice tattoo to remember it by. i want it to be really colorful and nice. itd be cool if some people could share some ideas with me please dont use ones you have i want it to be unique.
Maybe you could just find your favorite piece of blotter art and have it tatted. I am not suggesting you get one like mine, but I figured I'd show it anyway. It's a little psychedelic, itself. It's the catterpillar from Alice In Wonderland, sitting on it's mushroom and smokin a hookah:
Damn Brian I forgot you had that jaun I have a tattoo I drew myself, a girl sitting over the YES logo. But as for a psychedelic tattoo? I mean damn like, what, make it look like your arm is melting when you twist the skin? haha
If you're looking for something that's symbolic, on a personal level, then only you can decide, and our suggestions mean nothing.
How about something like this: http://www.allposters.com/-sp/Om-Manu-Padme-Hum-Posters_i808235_.htm or like this: http://www.allposters.com/-sp/Heaven-Of-Angels-Posters_i1533179_.htm or just go through that site, you might find something. Good luck!
Don't have any tatoo. I wanted to have it but then I realized that I like one picture and after some time I find another one that I like and slowly by the time I would probably finish looking like some comic book. Tatoo is a very personal thing. You have to find something that you really like and not change your mind about it or something that really represents you in that picture. Which I find very difficult.
For most of us, nearly impossible L! No offence towards pr0ne at all, but I had also wanted to get an OM tattoo for years, and recently I've decided against it and am very glad I did. Not that I have lost touch with the Spirit but Ive simply changed my mind about displaying it through one culture's symbol of which I am not a part of upon my body.
In fact, Om belongs to all of us, considering that the sound vibration breathed out from God is what we are all essentially composed of. However, the symbol itself is a testament to religion, and likewise I wouldnt get a cross tattoo for some of the very same reasons. It's all a matter of confusion in others really, I mean I can say the swastika doesnt belong to anyone either, but I wouldnt get a tattoo portraying one simply to avoid standing out as aligning myself to any belief or cause. (Extreme example, of course) Surely my consciousness has adapted to interpret reality as a manifestation of the Om sound, but the symbol used to represent it is an utterance of the Sanskrit language and a symbol of the Devanagari script, of which I BARELY speak, read nor write. What Om is of course is universal, but what it stands for is sectarian in many people's eyes, that's all Im saying. As well as new age, psuedo philosophical bullshitters, but that doesnt apply here since I know that you know what Om truly means pr0ne. I just wouldnt want the confusion of being branded one by anothers subconsious rendering.
