Yeah i do. On Saturday night, I was taking my fiancee home and found 2 kids trying to break into her dad's work truck. The cops found them about 20 minutes later. They had BB guns and were almost shot because of that. Her neighborhood is newer than mine too.
Yes, I feel quite safe. We lock our doors, but I never worry about prowlers or anything. Nothing much really happens around here.
my neighborhood doesnt worry me too much..but my town (its technically a city i think) has some really bad parts..especially at night. We lock our doors almost always because in a town this big..you always have to be careful
hmmm i gonna say that i generally feel safe in my neighbourhood. definitly shouldnt leave the doors unlocked although we sometimes do, and we're too cheap to invest in an alarm system. its funny how quickly things turn ghetto the more north you go. im right in the middle, not the nice part of the area and just south of the sketchy part. its actually a safe place compared to other parts of the city.
yea, only b/c my dad is a psycho bitch. he called the cops on some black kids across the street atleast 4 times by now and when we were little and saw a speeding car he would run and stop them...
No, this neigberhood is considered "wealthy", yet the wealth brings crime.. you should see the houses here... 10 meter tall gates, security cameras, barbed and electric wire... people live in fear... there is no imminant danger, but all the defense tactics around one makes one feel less safe.
i live right beside the crime capital of canada. its got a higher rate of crime per capita than even toronto. a number of years back it was the pr capita murder capital in all of north america. wooooo the 'shwa!! but to answer your question, yes i do feel safe.
i always lock the doors in my house, cuz i have this wierdness about locking stuff. if it's not locked i dont feel comfortable to do anything else until all the doors are locked. even when were all home, but my neighbor hood is safe , safer than what dayton was.
