even if there are no males or hemaphrodites in the bunch?If so what would be the male to female ratio of those seeds?my buddy found 8seeds in 1lb and i have grown 3 of them(all female)to bud..not a male to be found.........Could weed reprouce only female seeds with the lack of a male to pollenate it?..................................Silverback
I would say you got lucky The normal ratio is 50/50 and it does at times lean one way or the other. No pollen = no seeds. Now if you are in say California other outdoor grows can pollinate another even at a good distance. I cannot remember the figure but alot of the allergy causing pollen is from MJ Now keep in mind there are latent hermies that throw just a couple of male flowers near the tail end of the flowering time. Very hard to spot and normally due to the late appearance they really do not have a chance to seed. But you get the idea.
Ok,could the aerogarden cause all the seeds to be female? All the plants i have/are growing all seem to be female.Bushy right from the start and branch out without being topped,the plants i have in dirt all seem to be males.......Jez I dont know:huh: ...............Dawg
the method of growing (soil, hydro or aero) should not effect the male/female outcomes. in theory the sex is predetermined provided growing conditions are appropriate and not stressful for the plant. the fact you got all females in aero is just lucky.
