Okay. So I have experience with Psychedelics from my teenage years, and just recently I discovered this info about DMT. I was very curious and determined to 'see' what it was all about. I ordered Ayahuasca Kit #4 from Shamanic Extracts which includes 5 grams Syrian Rue seeds and 10 grams ground Mimosis Hostilis--Hostilis is an ideal name as it is Hostile. The instructions were to boil the seeds for about 15 minutes, as I did in about 3-4 cups of water. Then boil the ground mimosis for 15 minutes, which I did with about the same amount of water and some lime juice. I drank the Rue water about 15 minutes before I began drinking the repulsive Mimosis drink. Anyways, I kept trying to ingest the Mimosis little by little and after about 20-30 minutes and having finished about half the quantity, the quesiness I had felt for a little while before took hold in a mean way and purged like never before. I just couldn't ingest the Mimosis and keep it down. I didn't experience anything from this, and I'm wondering if it's because I should have ground up the Rue seeds, which was not indicated in the instructions, or simply the fact I purged the whole shebang after 40 minutes? Can anyone enlighten me on the method of smoking DMT as to what root/extraction should be used and how to prepare the smoke, and when you smoke DMT, is it necessary to use a MAO inhibitor? I really shouldn't be using a MAOI due to prescription drug use. Thanks

if your really keen to extract dmt do it properly to get dmt crystals from phalaris just do a simple alkaloid extraction all you need is blender/juicer, a solvent (acetone or ethanol - decent stuff), an acid (liquid pool acid) a base (NaOH) and a filter. There are alot of methods on the net so just look around. Also dmt decomposes at high temps (contact with flame) so just vaporise the crystals in a glass pipe (like people use for meth) or some other way. and if you smoke it you dont need to use a MAOI
