Regardless of how close-minded your community is, a girl you are close with should be open to listening to all your thoughts and opinions. This doesnt mean she will agree with them all or say yes to the strap-on idea, but a good girl won't run away because of it. If you have a solid foundation of trust and communication there is no reason why not to bring it up if the two of you are already sexually active together.
I would suggest you asking her straight out, while in the sexual mood ofcourse, that you have become interested in anal penetration, you would like her to try that on you, and that you're not gay.
