i just dont understand how the fuck someone could interpret a hendrix tee shirt in the same catagory as a "daddys little whore" tee shirt...it makes no sense to me...
It's already at the bottom of the drawer... After he came down wearing it this morning and we talked about it, that is where I put it. I am knitting you an Ernie sweater, everyone should sport the horizontal stripes of Ernie. BTW, my son is 9 and has Autism. He does not understand social crap, like racism. I had to carefully explain why I didn't want him to wear it. He asked me "what are black people?" Which is nice because his school is full of all colours. He just sees people.
Aw, that's cool, Mitten. And that's another reason you made the right decision: you do not need your autistic son to have to explain his shirt to people. It probably wouldn't go well.
I know bro but its a sick world we live in, even when you and I see these things as harmless, but with the eyes of a stranger its much more difficult to determine whats going on upstairs, better to be safe than sorry. exspecially when it come to kids public safety. its much more different than a perv that gets turned on by the color blue. imo.
i'm gonna buy my nephew some confederate clothes. and it'll be funny because of the busing incident in the 70's in boston i'll get a matching shirt too. then i'll walk through parts of dorchester and mattapan just for shits and giggles
My friend Mark taught his godchild to call everyone a silly Jew. I make damn sure I'm never around that little kid in public.
I agree...An extremely poor attempt at trying to be witty but he crashed and burned and failed in the process...
As a mom, you have every right to do whatever you want with the gifts your son receives from adults. I approve of your choice. I think you made the right choice. It's a cute gesture to bring back a part of history for your son, and I understand that it was a souvenir - I like the idea. I still think you made the right choice to send him to school in something else.
