Something I forgot that is extremely delicious is red-ant larvae.

I haven't eaten a lot of gamey meats due to lack of opportunity, but reindeer, elk, and moose are all on my list of things to try.

I've tasted it twice over here and it was a little bland. But I'm presuming that their taste depends on how it's cooked and their breed(if there are different breeds) and even where it was reared.

I just had a buffallo burger too so I'm sure that wasn't the best part of the beast. I know that beef sure tastes different depending on the cut and country of origin, so I haven't given up on buffalo just yet.

moose and deer taste pretty similar, reindeer is a bit more different. how does one describe taste without comparing it to something else?

incidentally, did you know that what is known as a moose in North America and an elk in Europe is the same species? whereas elk in North America is a different animal entirely, a kind of deer!

I haven't eaten enough reptiles or insects. I have a feeling there are plenty of wonderful flavours to experience there, but that's what I love about life, always another adventure ahead!

Well, I've eaten venison and enjoyed it so I'm looking forward to some moose.

I've eaten so many different types of insects, since I got here mainly, and they are all pretty tasty except for silkworms(too mushy for me). But there is still so much left that I haven't tasted too.

I've eaten sticks before...I'm being serious...what made me eat the sticks? I am still wondering about that to this day...

I would like to try those lemon ants, is that what they are called?

Live sea urchin that I caught myself :H, dog food, cat food, tomatojuice with chocolate powder in, chicken feet, scotch bonnets, some strange greenish thing, alot of raw stuff that I shouldn't have eaten (including chicken), charcoal and too many guys' faces :D

That's all I can think of at the top of my head. I will do ANYTHING on a dare, I just can't say no!

And I absolutely ADORE chicken hearts and fish brains ^_^ I also have raw egg yolk mixed really well with sugar sometimes. I think those are the weird things I enjoy on a regular.

Has anyone ever eaten a scorpion? Because the BF is now saying he's going to order some and I think he's serious.

    EDIT: Jesus, Emilia. *applause*

scorpion? cool!! anyone know if there is any credibility to this; there's a type of tequila in which they put a poisonous scorpion, and supposedly the poison mixed with the booze causes hallucinations?

and emelia, that's impressive! eaten fisheyes?

Because my boyfriend got carried away at the Chinese grocery store and all of a sudden we were throwing a "cooking weird food" party. We had periwinkle and cuttlefish too. It was actually pretty fun.

Red, figures you'd have been there. Good, glad to hear this isn't going to be too awful.

Like two months ago I was a vegetarian. *shrug*

I don't know about the tequila but in Laos there are plenty of bottles of liqour with poisonous snakes and scorpions in them. They taste funny, rather like earth, and you do get you pretty tipsy very easily but I've never experienced hallucinations.
