I just don't get the "light" smokers......

Ok, this question is for the smokers out there who smoke the "light/ultra light" cigarettes, my question is: how can you smoke these things? I don't even understand why they sell these things- they do absoultely nothing for you. It's like breathing in air if you ask me. I'm more of the marlboro red/camel wide guy myself so to me I just dont get the people who smoke "marlboro lights", camel lights, winston lights, etc.

maybe, to some, it is because they have this addiction they feel they have to indulge and they don't want to punish their body more than they have to, or maybe they don't like the taste of harsher ciggies. who knows why anyone does anything?

 

Light smokes suck. Have to suck so hard just to get a bit of smoke, and then you cough because your out of breath.

 

Well I quit one month and one day ago (yay me!)

But I would usually smoke lights...
For one, I wouldn't devolp so much of a nasty cough and/or sore throat.
Some full flavor cigs. are too harsh
And I could taste lights just fine...
Cause I was used to smoking them...

I know a girl who has been smoking ultra-lights for a year now since she's "trying to quit".

I don't know why people don't just save some money and either completely quit or buy stronger ciggs so that they don't have to smoke as much.

Smoking an ultra-light is like smoking pure air.

I smoked just as many cigs. when I smoked full flavored ones... cause I liked the act of smoking. Yep.

 

I used to smoke a Reds, then moved on to menthols, now I usually smoke a pipe so I can pose like a fool.

I don't see why anyone would want to smoke at all -- but if so, smoking 'light' cigarettes still causes all the health problems regular cigarettes do.

 

I don't smoke, but I have a lot of friends who sorta quit the harsh stuff and started smoking lights cause their lungs and all...pussies

ya SirRubin Drum is good. I found a pouch of it at a festivle and it was quite a treat.

 

Right now i'm smoking Pall Mall full flavor, and drinking Molson XXX, When i go out i like to drink Jack w/Pepsi. nothing else feels right. I'll try lights now and then, but i just burn through them faster.

 

and i also like to smoke black and milds. and blunts.

 

i dont get smokers, maybe im ignorant but i dont see how sucking a shitty tasting stick and inhaling the smoke is any good
