    The world spins once again
If only I could catch the sun
    It sinks beneath my vision

The sky looks like cotton candy
    Twisting across an aging canvas
The wisps are a sweet inferno

I can see the wind is pink
    I feel it

The river cracks a sodden levy
    The levy snaps under pressure
It spills across a busy street

I watch the people dance together
I like the sudden change of beat
I ride a bike into the wind

I can see the wind is pink
    I love it

There is so much more that I haven’t seen
There are so many places I can’t be

But for now the sky is pink
But for now the world is flooded
The breeze is cold and for now I love it
