So I was on the beach with a bunch of people yesterday and there was a bald eagle flying overhead...suddenly, it swooped down and caught an injured seagull with it's talons...It was pretty much the raddest thing I had ever seen. I had seen the seagull earlier in the day with a broken wing...all bloodied and flies eating at it. Unfortunately, it's illegal where I live to kill an animal because I live in a conservation area...so anything injured cannot be touched. Anywho...though I'm vegan, I still thought it was fucking cool. Especially since it probably put the sea gull out of its misery.
think it was on plaent earth when a hawk fell several hundred feet while trying to get a strong hold of its prey. details are blurry but it was amazing. nature at its best.
