Hey all. One of my favorite things to do on other canna sites is look over the smoke reports for all the tasty strains. This site seems lacking in this area so I figured, wtf, why not start a smoke reports thread. I'll start out with an easy general format we can all follow. - Make sure to put the strain name as the title of you post, so it can be easily found in search. - Try to only do reports on herb if you are sure of it's origin/name, and got it from a reliable source. Sorry guys, but no one wants to read a smoke report about some beasters or middies.... if you come across from really nice no-name headies then feel free to throw 'em up here, but names are best... -There are 4 main catagories: 1)Appearance 2)Aroma 3)Taste 4)High -Finally, pictures are always good, but not needed. If you are trying to take up-close shots of your herb then make sure to turn on your camera's "macro" function - it'll make it much clearer. I find pictures of herb always come out much better if they're in a well lighted area too. If the flash on your camera is messing up the pictures then just cover it with something white - like a napkin or a piece of paper. Have at it folks, I may throw up some reports of what I've been smoking on lately, and maybe some old ones of harvests past just to get things started. Peace :spliff:
Alright, this report is actually of some homegrown I toked quite some time ago, gotta start somewhere though, and I don't have a camera on me to take pictures of this jack herer in my pocket. I recently ran across some blockhead (not mine, but it was good) and it brought up some good memories... Strain: Blockhead Breeder: Spice of Life seeds Grower: LUNE :spliff: Report is on 2 different phenos of this strain Sweet Pink Grapefruit pheno Appearance: This herb is very dense, and very coated in trichomes. Very light hairs that are light orange/pink in color. Nugs break out very large when broken/grinded up. Aroma: This phenotype leans heavily to the father of the strain, which is Sweet Tooth (aka Sweet Pink Grapefruit). I found this pheno both times I grew this strain out. The smell is unforgettable, very very pungent sweet and sour. It's really does smell just like grapefruit. Taste: The smoke is very smooth going down and coming out. The taste isn't fruity, but it is def. sweet, just like the smell, along with a little hashyness too. High: The high is very relaxing and calming. It slows you down a whole bunch and makes you stare off into space. Strong body high. Musty pheno Appearance: Just straight up coated with frost, all the way from the outside of the nugs to the very middle. A bit fluffier than the other pheno. Aroma: This smells pretty rank - hard to describe - almost like a musty old basement, or gym socks, or something like that....but in a good way Taste: A light taste that is very hashy/coffeeish. Not the best tasting herb out there. High: Devastating high. I still remember the first time I smoked my best friend out on this herb. He told me that me felt almost drunk he was so messed up. The same relaxing body stone as the SPG pheno but with a racing head high that tears off your head
Strain: Purple Romulen (spelling?) Was getting hooked up for a quarter yesterday and when my buddys deale stopped by he had 2 Os of some dankness called romulen. Appearance: Covered in trichomes, with average density. Has alot of purple. Aroma: The best way to describe it is it smelled "green", and the smell is strong, stinking up an entire room before it was even sparked. Taste: Gives a smooth fruity hit, though it didn't taste purple more just fruity. High: Twas alright, couch lock deffinatly. Got high and just chilled on my buddys porch for almost 3 hours and I wasn't bored at all. So deffinatly a good high. No pics tho kinda already smoked it all
