leave my room this mornign and im greeted by her open-mouthed loud noisy disgusting wet chewing add in the fact that she and her room usually stink of stale sweat, and i cant wait to get her out of here. unfortunately, that aint gonna happen til i get a real job, which is after school is done, which means itll be may before im making any decent money and probably june or july before the bf and i ask her to leave (shes taking summer courses, so shes going to live here this summer) i just wanna live with my bf so we can do it adn be loud any time we want. and, well, other reasons too, but cmon, loud awesome sex is where its at
Oh man, that really sucks. It's awful when you have to share a home with someone who you just don't get along with. I love how it's just Tim and me now. I always tell him jokingly that he's not allowed to break up with me EVER because I never want to live in a rented flat-share ever again. It always did my head in so bad.. And yeah, loud sex is awesome.
I share a house with my sister and her boyfriend. I work away from home and spend about 8 days a month at home. I pay out the ass for 8 days a month. Every week I come home, its a sty, it smells, every available surface is covered in shit. they have the tv going even if theyre not watching which is one of my biggest pet peves. The kitchen is always filthy. I love to cook, and cant even do that. Oh, and now she's pregnant. I need to move.
I like living in share houses for a while, but I prefer to live by myself. living with girlfriends I've found to be the worst
I don't do the roommate thing. I'd get sick of people after 3 days, especially women. I have no idea how some people manage to share a kitchen with say, 7 people. I like my sanity, thanks.
I've lived in big groups that have worked, and small groups that haven't. One shitty person can throw the whole thing off.
thankfully the most 'cooking' she does is kraft dinner, so the kitchen is still my domain (and my bfs, but he does more baking than meal-cooking). but her stinky room is beside mine, grr. and she just comes and stares at what im doing in the kitchen sometimes, its awkward
Eck, you still have the stinky roommate? Does she like EVER shower or wash her clothes? I have a friend who's like that, he always stinks, he doesn't know how to wash clothes, so when he was living on his own, he only had clean clothes when he and his roommate were visiting his roommate's mom and she did their laundry. How hard is it to put clothes in, turn the knob, put in some detergent, and press go?
she does shower. i just dont think she washes her clothes very often. she goes for a few walks a day usually, which is how she lost a bunch of weight... awesome fo rher, but she wears the same clothes to get all sweaty and walk in and doesnt change them at all, just sits in stale sweat then goes and does it again, and yeah... hte odour seems to get everywhere. i sometimes have to cover my nose if were both in the living room watching a movie (she loves movies, i work at a movie store, therefore she watches the movies i rent usually) and if her bedroom door is open mine is closed, cant stand the stale sweat wafting into my room apparently laundry is verrrrry difficult, especially since we got a shiny new (to us) washing machine from my bfs parents
cuz we need money for rent, my bf knew her from when they both lived in residence on campus, were going to wait til i make enough to pay her share of rent, and we dont want to kick her out in the middle of the shcoolyear what baffles me is that she -wants- to live her next year too. and whiel i havent been ridiculously cruel, im not exaclty sugary sweet to her either. i dont get it. other than housing is a bit short here lately, but its not -that- bad, especially since her parents pay for everything of hers (rent, extra money for movies etc which she buys all the time, school, etc. girl hasnt worked a day in her life as far as i know, aside from working on her familys farm in BC during summers)
and how this morning however, has been blissful. she has a final this morning and is sitll out of the house, hiphiphurrah!
