Timing and Living Situation (Help me out please)

I have been wanting to do acid for an unbearably long time and I finally found someone who can hook me up and now I have some questions and doubts that most likely stem from misinformation. I have done all sorts of research but I need someone with experience to let me know if this will work:

I am taking it in the morning after my parents leave for work and no one comes home until about 6 or 7. I'm only taking one microdot because it's the first time I've ever tripped, and my friend is watching me for the time. Now my questions are as follows

1. Will I be able to say hi to my parents when they get home and will I be able to act composed after about 8 hours?

2. Would I be able to take it earlier and not have my friend show up until an hour or so later? When do bad trips usually begin in the course of the high?

If that is a stupid idea, should I wait until I can be gone an entire day?

 

Ok first off: do not even think about a "bad trip". Yes you most likely could speak with the rents after about 8 hours.
What I suggest you do is set an alarm for about 6-6:30 am and eat it, then go back to sleep. Waking up kinda tripping is one of the weirdest/ most awesome feeling ever.

If the OP is like me, I doubt he'd be able to get back to sleep after having just taken his first ever dose of lsd.

I'd say if you're worried, take less. You can always take the other half dose 1-2 hours after taking the first half, if you don't feel anything.

 

id say plan a better situation to trip dude, you will more than likely still feel rough when your parents come home and end up chatting shit to them hahaha

 

I've dealt with my parents multiple times while tripping, and honestly they had/have no clue at all. Should be fine talking to them especially after 8 hours as long as you can recognize your normal behavior and behave in that manner. don't even think of a "bad" trip and you won't have one. I recommend taking it before your friend shows up, the effects won't even kick in for an hour or so.

get 4 hits and both of you take 2 each. take them at 7am and you will be fine to talk to your parents when they get home.

if you are hesitent or at all afraid of anything do not trip. do enough research until you feel confident that you will be fine, then trip.

 

yeah I gotta say, I took my first trip at home on two hits and I was alone for half the time and I had a wonderful experience.

 

Well the connections haven't gotten back to me yet and I've been thinking about it and I'm pretty sure I'll just do one hit alone when I have a lot of time at home or if I'm going to be up all night. I was just being a little cautious because this is my first venture into psychedelic territory.

 

Good. Plan it another time when you can feel relaxed. You not knowing will you be able to speak to your parents and thinking when they will come is not a good idea and might come in front of your face constantly pulling you from something else.

 

My gf is straight edge but she doesn't mind what I do as long as it doesn't dominate our time together. On a Saturday morning when she had to work I dropped three tabs at like 8:30am. When she came home at 6pm my pupils were still huge and I still had a hard time acting 'normal'. I'd say drop it when you have a day to do something spontaneous, a whole day to just observe.
