This November, Americans will have to make a choice for president. That choice will have a profound effect on the next decade of life in our country and perhaps forever. The choice between Hillary Clinton and John McCain will be fairly simple. One will raise taxes and make sure that big government will take care of everyone, while actually caring for no one, and the other will challenge us all to make decisions that will encourage personal and individual responsibility. If Barack Obama is the Democratic candidate, it will be much more complicated. Obama is a socialist with an Afro-centrist bent. And after the exposure of his church pastor, Jeremiah Wright, and his extreme 'hate-America' rantings, Obama is definitely someone to be leery of. I am among the many Americans who find it hypocritical that Obama could sit in the church, weekend after weekend, and not find pastor Wright's speech hateful. It is not enough to say that he doesn't agree with everything Wright says. The fact that he remained in that church and continues to support Wright suggests something deeper. But the more important fact is that the church was, and is, full of children; children who were flooded with these kinds of hate-America/hate-white-people sermons. Just when is seems the nation is on the brink of putting racism completely behind it, we learn that people like Pastor Wright continue to plant the hate seed. I just don't think America can take a chance on him. Being in the corporate business world and owning a Oil & Gas drilling company I can assure that he will be a disaster for the nation. You got love the Taxes are Evil! talk. Like that could be the worst sin ever. Killing thousands if not millions never seems to hit their radar.
LOL. Another Neo-Conservative, "family values" propaganda. We've had 8 years of your fucking bullshit, look where's it's gotten us.
hes so freakin worried about what a preacher says one whos not even directly involved in the race, yet hed vote for a psycho madman who claims killing muslims is gods will and declares entire countrieds to be evil doers is racism racism only when its against rich white poilmen is it ok to be racist against muslims as ling as oil intetests are involved? fuck mccain..fuck clinton obama is the only 1 making sence
We saw how racism has been put behind us during Katrina. How many white faces did you see on those bridges, loading on to those buses? The only white's that seemed to have perished were the elderly left in rest homes or the poor, while the water was rising. And not many of them. The thing politicians seem to forget or fog over is we haven't forgotten. We will never forget. You want to talk about planting a hate seed. We saw that seed planted in the gulf, and we continue to see it grow as white commerce prospers and the poor live in toxic trailers. We couldn't save old ladies, but we could bail out the petroleum and war industry down there. http://www.zmag.org/content/showarticle.cfm?ItemID=14454
"...and not find pastor Wright's speech hateful." Heh, we have a Republican with hurt feelings. Cry me a fuckin' river The party of torture, but they whine about "hateful" ... WORDS! One shot magazine give it a spin Open your mouth, slide the barrel in -English Beat
The petroleum and war industry is what you call a national security issue. You saw what the disruption of Louisiana's Petroleum industry can do in an emergency to prices when petroleum and refineries can't refine. Think. That is why it had to be saved and protected. Why do you think there were so many BLACKS hanging out at the Superdome in New Orleans after the hurricane hit? I will tell you because I was down there protecting my assets futher south in Houma which didn't flood as much. They were given 72 hours to get out and knew the storm could eventually hit as hourly updates were given. They didn't leave because they wanted their wellfare and SSI checks that come on the 1st and 3rd of every month so they can booze it up and get high for the majority of them as they usually do in New Orleans. Fate would have it that Katrina hit on August 29th thus shutting down the mail system for them to get their checks. Thats why you saw them screaming and demanding the goverment help them outside the massive Superdome that they wrecked like they did to government projects they lived in for generations paid for by working people who pay taxes that they dont appreciate. Thank god the New Orleans city council (which was changed to predominately white because of the relocation of these people) opted to not rebuild them and voted to tear down the rest of them preventing them to move back. It was a eyesore on the city. Never the less Katrina was a blessing to an extent and purged the city of these people who are leaches off of you the average taxpayer and business owner. There was no racism and it hasn't never been proven. On the bridge where they were turned back was perfectly legitiment by the law enforcement. These people were out of control looting and there was no reason for them to enter into another part of the city for them to act primal and destroy perfectly good neighborhoods and businesses that were intact. If they were smart and had jobs then they would have gotton out of there before the storm hit. But if you do not get an education you eventually loose and it showed. Ex Louisiana House Republican David Duke who was elected by the people in his district stated that this would eventually happen if a catastrophy struck and it did. I say cease welfare and SSI checks on these people and you will end generations of poverty. They will learn to get jobs and feel proud of what they have achieved thru success instead of thru government handouts provided by the working taxpayer who are proud of their work. Yes the elderly didn't make it in some of the nursing homes but those people who owned them were found they were not responsible by a court of law. The racial makeup has changed drastically and the city is being transformed slowly with the 9th ward mainly being turned into a green area that should enlighten some of you. You should be proud.
Yeah ignore this guy, I suggest someone bans this chappie quicksmart before harry potter has to knock him out using wingardium leviosa.
*does a skank dance on this thread* 1! 2! 3! 4! We don't want your fucking war! 5! 6! 7! 8! John McCain is full of hate!
Yeah no shit. I think some people really think America is supposed to be like Leave it to Beaver...nice white people with nice goofy problems. I hope Obama wins if for no other reason than to piss off people who can't stand the idea of a non-white leading the free world.
I find it hypocritical that you talk about America at all, when you support the man who believes that we have to stay in Iraq for 100 years, presumably because we still have some soldiers with all their limbs attached.
What's really hilarious is that the Beav grew up and married his mom. And that the 50s was a drug fueled haze of tranquilizers and mind-numbing conformity. And yeah, I want Obama to win, if only to see drooling racists such as Oilman have a friggin' stroke.
Just because the Oilman has a differing opinion than the rest of you on this forum doesn't mean he's a troll. Now, unlike the Oilman I dislike McCain- yet Oilman brings up some astute points. He is right on about Obama and Rev. Wright. Now, there is no need for the childish labeling and slandor. We can debate and be civil about our disagreements. There is no need to go any further than that. I respect Louisiana Oilman's opinion just as I respect everyone else's opinion. Can we just stay respectful... no matter the personal opinion.
damn i knew this guys polotics were dangerouse but never expected the blatant racism just everything about him is so wrong i think he must be a parody i think he must really be ultra liberal pretending to be ultra conservative just to expose theyre stupidity i know we love to hate this guy but face it hes helping the cause by reminding us why these polotics are dangerouse and ugly thank you oilman we get the point (unless ya are for real then pay attention cause your missin our points entirely...)
I agree with Jack a Roe; if Oilman has one thing going for him it's that he's been civil unlike some other people. I thought hipforums was a place for everyone to be able to have their own opinions and not get ripped on for them.
