Hospital

I go in at 6pm tonight to the hospital. They're going to give me a drug called cervadil to "ripen my cervix". Makes me think of a melon, they way they talk about it. If all goes well, it should start labor. I hope it does. The other option is petocin, which I DON'T want to take. It makes contractions so much stronger and closer together, and I don't want to have to take the drugs.

I'm eight days past my due date. They're worried because the baby is...well big. Don't want to have to have a c-section.

8 days, wow, I bet you are more than ready... Hopefully you won't have a c-section, I'm sure that stuff will work and you will push that big ol' baby out...

Good luck woman! Although if it comes to a c-section, my mom had three and I will probably have to have them too. Little women, yknow? It really goes alright

I got a phone call from the hospital, after I'd already left, saying that they had babies coming out the wazoo and that I have to reschedule. Apparently, they had a mother die tonight. I feel really bad for her family, and more nervous about being induced.

 

Woah....

 

Jeez that's scary. Well it's good you're not going in tonight. You don't need that negative energy around you.

 

Whens the new appointment? Try and have lots and lots of sex before then, see if your boy can 'ripen' your cervix
