I don't want anyone to think I'm racial so please don't take this that way. I just wondered how is it being a different race then white? Is there still hate and dirty looks? Ever get fucked with because of your ancestry?

Really you may begin to understand your just not connecting to other races because of something going on inside your mind. Not to say your racist, just probably have a limited understanding of multiculturalism based on your question.

I'm sure if you started hanging out with more mixed groups, you'd notice that fashion and verbiage aside, theres not many differences between people at all. black people and mexican people have the same kinda why am I here questions, and are just sruggling through life the same as all of us.

im not racist either, but i've kinda wondered things along that line. and damnit why is socially acceptable to rag on white people? on the news just this morning, it was said that barack obama plays basketball "white" because he's over 40 and not quite as good as he was in his youth. what the fuck? if i told someone they eat "black" because they like fried chicken and watermelon, i'd get read the damned riot act. shit, i like chicken and watermelon, and theres black people who suck at basketball. if you're gonna be stereotypical, at least let both sides play.

I actually have a pet peeve with calling someone an Indian if they are Native American. I dont know if this really bothers anyone, but its just not an accurate term, yknow?

so hatred against another based on skin tone has less and less to do with race and more and more to do with ugliness within the 1 holding onto hatred

the thing is..hatred against a person based solely on skin color can only exist by refusing to get to know the person as a person
the few people from that race a rasist allows themselves to get to know either become the exception to the rule (disproving the rule) or earn hatred on theyre own merit
ofcourse if theyre forced to examine this theyd realize the ppl that really earn theyre hate do so by actions not by race

i forget where, but i saw something the other day that referred to black people as "african americans," regardless of what continent they are from...
