Dude I haven't ate a berry in months because I sorta have a superstition about them. During the summer I went camping with my friend Ashley who always pranks me at some point during the trip... she makes it a ritual. Well anyhoo I woke up and one of my nostrils was clogged. So I went outside the tent and snot rocketed out what was clogging it. I watched it hit the ground and it was a large red chunk of something.... slightly startled I continued to blow my nose thinking that the chunk was a piece of my brain or some shit. I found no more of it so I just shrugged it off for a few days... it wasn't until like six days later that I was told Ashley shoved a berry up my nose when I was sleeping.... pssh
i'm sorry but how can i only chose one? it's IMPOSSIBLE! fresh picked wild berries are by far the best. and what about goji berries? they are soo nasty they are good!
Blackberries are my favorite *though I can't stand the seeds*. Strawberries are probably my least favorite of the berries listed that I've tried.
Blackberries...just plain, in jam, in pie, you name it. When I was a little girl, we had bunches of blackberry bushes that we would pick from...I didn't even mind getting stuck by the thorns those berries tasted so good... :daisy:
had to give it up 4 raspberries. Although cranberries and blackberries are close. b'berries grow everywhere here in the pac. northwest. My fav dessert is Vanilla ice cream with whole raspberries.
gotta love em all! thimble berries are wonderful but as far as i know, only grow in an area i only lived in ten of my nearly sixty years. wild black berries, on the other paw, seem to grow just about everyplace i've lived or care to. except at elevations which are too high for them, which i love too. huckleberries i'm not familiar with and cranbarries i prefer the homoginized kind of cranbarrie sauce without the whole berries in it. if the poll were multiple choice i'd have picked all except the huckleberrie, which as far as i know, i've never seen in the wild. ok, i've never seen a wild cranberry bog either, just the stuff that comes in cans, but that's good too. =^^= .../\...
also holly (some kind of singer or actress or something, i'm not sure), steve (writer) and sue (cartoonist). =^^= .../\...
Chocolate-dipped strawberries are the ultimate in dessert perfection. Anyone and everyone who disagrees with me on this is wrong.
