There was an earth quake last night, and it wasn't a big serious one (only 5.2) but none the less it happened at like 4:37 in the morning and I happened to feel it...earth quakes are trippy and wierd. It was so akward that everything was just shaking, and there was just a loud noise going on...anyone else feel it?
yes i did...there is a thread about this in the random thoughts forum that i already responsed to... it was really surreal...it didn't even occur to me that it was an earthquake....
im so pissed i missed it. apparently you could feel the aftershocks of it in my area but once again i slept through another one
i live in indiana and it happened at 5:30 this morning, i first thought someone was trying to open my door, and then i tought someone was laying on the ground kicking my bed
I live in northern illinois.. it was all the talk at school today, apparently I sleep like a rock- I didn't feel a thing. I was watching the news this morning and it said that the newspeople were apologizing for being ignorant idiots earlier. apparently people were calling in early talking about an earthquake, to which they responded with something along the lines of "you idiots, ain't no mufuckingpissass earthquake" aha.
It would scare the shit out of me if I was on shrooms and an earthquake came in. Whoa. Never done acid so can't speak for that... but still that just came to my head
yeah I didn't feel shit but i guess my mom did... she came into my room at like 4"30AM and was like "did you just run through my room?" and i was like um no i've been sitting here sleeping.
i've never experienced an earthquake before, but i'm sure it would scare the shit out of me, and i'd be especially pissed if it woke me up at 4:30 in the morning.
Yeah im in Lee's Summit Missouri... pretty klose to Kansas City but kinda felt it but same as you i thought it was thunder and wat not. but none the less pretty weird b/c it never happens out here
I felt it too. I live near STL. It was so cool...i posted about it earlier in the Missouri forum. I talked to my teacher from California about it and she said that they got them all the time. She'd wake up and her bed would be on the other side of the room. lol.
