me and some people are chilling tomorrow over at my crib celebrating one of my friends getting of probation. kinda overplayed all my music lately...just want some suggestions for some good smoking music or good music in general plz.
which bands can you rule out cause i can list good bands all day. what im listening to currently: John Scofield, Herbie Hancock, Guthrie Govan-Amazing Guitarist, The Derek Trucks Band, Jimmy Herring, Allman Brothers, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, Blues Traveller, Fela Kuti, Frank Zappa, Steely Dan.... i could go on.
im listening to the landlady by phish. its great. im also listening to allman brothers phil lesh, GD, tea leaf green, clapton, weezer.
Check out the wood brothers. They are a Bass and Guitar Duo with some pretty chill songs. The bassist (Chris Wood) is the same bassist from Medeski Martin & Wood who is also a great Jazz trio to check out if you are into jazz. But def give the wood brothers a listen.
I am listning to sugar magnolia and i love allman brothers and dave mathews band...cant wait to see pearl jam at bonnaroo!!!
hmm.. lately i've been listening to a lot of stevie ray vaughan. i love smoking and just listening to his music, he's amazing.
Check out the Flaming Lips. Their music is absolutely amazing, especially when your high. Trust me man, check them out
