Tonight there is going to be a special on the history channel titled Peyote to LSD: A Psychedelic History. Sounds like it would be interesting to check out.
I watched that last night. Great show but the narrator pronounced lysergic acid diethylamide wrong though. Kind of strange considering that was the topic of the show.
I caught the last half of it from 11pm-midnight, then I watched the whole thing when it came on at it's 2am-4am slot.
The show got me very interested in giving ayahuasca another try, and actually going through with it this time, as opposed to giving up after the first sip. That shit is nasty, at least the mimosa preparation is.
I saw the last quarter from 10PM-12AM and the full show at 2AM to 4AM. Great documentary......definitely one of the more neutral documentaries on psychedelics shown on tv as of late.....especially compared to the highly exaggereated "Taboo:Altered States" on Nat Geo......which is suprising because the History Channel is usually more conservative.
