Since I was a teen, I haven't been one for TV really. I have seen the big brawl before. My only real memories of him were as a complete destroyer in the ring.

But yeah, it is pretty shocking. I wonder, was he always that fucked up and they kept it under wraps well, or did he become like that after he felt that he was fucked over? A lot of the verbal anti-gay, heart-eating, womanising stuff seems to be relatively recent.

Further more Tyson is a complete mental case. No joke. The guy's on loads of stabilizing medication. Problem is the meds have to stop within a certain range of the fights and training. No meds combined with increased adrenaline flow, result in things like him punching out a civilian for hitting his car.

Mike Tyson is the man. If it weren't for Don King, he'd be considered one of the top 5 fighters of all time. As it stands, he was an amazing start up that flopped. Quite a shame. Still my favorite boxer of all, next to Floyd Mayweather though.

 

Tyson made a lot of mistakes during his career, but the two which stand out are signing with Don King, and choosing to fight a reasonably competent boxer (Buster Douglas) just weeks after he lost his mother.

No one on earth was going to beat douglas that night
