just because i said i don't want to remove my earing. I said i can remove it only together with an ear.
It's so sad that noone cares what are you doing, and how much you know. They just care if you have an earing or tattoo. And no matter what they said, that earing stays.

So little... Hardly to see. People are pretty dum here. Everything that is not as they want is just another junkie indicator...

Wow, if they tried that over here, it'd be all over the news and you could sue them for discrimination.

Here i can onlysmile and wait to be fired. But they won't do that. I'm the only one who knows about computers. I'm the only one who works 3 practices a day with no extra money. They can't find a replacement with national licence to be a coach.

Even in the U.S. companies can regulate how there workers look, I worked for one company they had a list of things for on the job look like- no earings, no face peirsing, clean shaven, neat hair style, trimmed beards, and even clothing style.

As for earrings they can be removed at work and replaced when you get off.
Not something that will really effect your life, I guess it comes down to how much someone wants the job.

That really sucks Axis. It pisses me off how society judges people by their appearance.

Last weekend some friends and I (another girl and two guys) went to LBI. Myself and the other girl went to check into our hotel room (that was reserved for four people) and the older gentlemen (like grandfather age) at the desk was so nice and friendly to us, but when the guys came in thru the lobby he stopped one of them and told him that there better not be any loud or obnoxious behavior. It just so hapens that the one he told has multiple visible tattoos and peircings. It really made me just want to leave that hotel because of the desk guy stereotyping my friend like that. Grrrrrr. Makes me so mad.

Let's see...job=$=food,smoke,whatever floatsyerboat....tiny earring....well ,perhaps they see it as a workmans' comp case waiting to happen,a volleyball rippin' your ear to shreds( just kidding!) I worked in a place a zillion years ago & was told not to wear 'Loves Lemon Scent' or else! This was at a fish & chips place too,ha! I thought it was Very appropriate, harrumph! At least I didn't smell like fishies! Check the dress code, know your rights. And I LOVE that shot of Bowie that's floating along this thread!
