hey we have to hunt to eat.. that's what we live on in the winter.. fish in the spring and summer.. wild hog in the fall and deer in the winter..when you live off the grid you don't run to get a big mac.. I can the fruits, berries and veggie I grow..so don't be harsh..lol

 

Nothing against hunters when it makes since.This is about hunting the wilderness that's in the middle of southern Cal.There's a mcdonalds on every corner.The only reason these guys hunt is because they want to kill something and want a trophy to prove it.They come on the forum asking about bear sightings looking for their prey.Misrepresenting themselves at least until I call them on it.
I had an idea once that there could be power in posting.Basically a group comes in and takes over a site.Like the sit ins of yesterday,except done electronically.Arm chair militancy,the american way.

 

I registered, and my name is "god will kill you for killing"....I'm getting the feeling that I won't be allowed in, since thats my name and I put Julia Butterfly as one of my heroes, and the admin wants to review everything....you'd figure he has more of a life than that.

not a good idea to flame the admin..I got banned from a site for not agreeing with one person that was a reg.. talk about your 1st ammendment..I just glad we have a place to gather and exchange points of views and even rant a little if we must..it's not easy to maintain a website with sooooo much happening and upgrades and inovated ideas.. I'm thankful we have this place..

 

Believe it or not, this place is where I spent my entire summer break at.

 

1) Because they are hunting animals because they find it fun and I'd like to kick them all in the balls and,
2) Its fun.

 

most of the folks in here are pretty decent.. my summers are working time here on the farm and fishing season.. we do spend a lot of time on the lake fishing and camping tho.. but that's part of our food source.. it's not a bad way of life..slow and easy.. very peacefull
