Hi im looking for Australian cough syrups that contain DXM and prefrebly none of the other nasty chemicals that make you feel like shit! So if anybody in Australia has done dxm before can you point me in the right direction of what to buy?

Well I'm not a fan of dxm but since a bunch of my friends were going to go do it I decided I'd help them out a little bit.

I was wandering around the drug store and I found Delsym. In big bold letters on the front it says it contains no tylenol or anything else, just 30mg of dxm per 5ml dose. Plus it tastes like oranges so it's awesome i guess.

if they have delsym in the land down under go for that man, and if you can't find anything with just dxm skip the experience man, not worth it.

Go to a store by your house that contains cough medicines, and look for something that has Dextromethorphan as the only active ingredient.

yeh only problem with Australian pharmacy's is cough syrup is sold behind the counter these days so it makes it hard to find what brands have what ingredients and i cant seem to find any info on the net which is a pain! Ill check out a bottle of Benadryl Dry Forte Thanks for the help :)

well looks like i spoke to soon i found a site with ingredients :) looks like the Benadryl Dry Forte contains sorbitol which would most likely give me the runs and have a crappy time ill see what else i can find i think
    [EDIT]
Alrighty after a bit of research ive found 2 which would be fine to take
Vicks Formula 44 which contains Dextromethorphan Hybromide, Sucrose, Sodium Saccharin, Sodium Benzoate, Alcohol 5% v/v.
And Robitussin DX which contains Dextromethorphan Hybromide, Sodium benzoate, Saccharin Sodium, glucose, fructose and maltose
I think ill go buy a bottle of vicks 44 tomorrow and see how it goes :p

Just go to your nearest supermarket and look at the cough medicine. Look on back and see if it has Dextromethorphan in it. Dont get it if it has anything else in it.

Robotussin should be sold there. Also if you want to save money, most stores(at least in america) sell generic Tussin products which are cheaper.

it might be longer. but it wont be as strong as just taking regular Hbr. delsym is a plastic coated dxm... you'll just be getting a little bit at a time. with Hbr its absorbed faster meaning a stronger trip.
