Followed the extraction method found on Erowid (extensive one: blended with water, then boiled) and am wondering if the juice is kept in the fridge in a pitcher how long it will keep. Can it just chill for a few days without losing potency?
Its fine in the fridge. If its going to be long term, just throw it in the freezer. Mescaline degrades slowly under conditions of long exposure to heat, light, or high ph.
make sure you shake it before use. you should be fine. it will probably spoil over a period of months if its not air tight. i doubt it will lose its potency. man i think i know what tek you were using. did you use the cactus core and everthing, blend, boil for hours then strain through a shirt you hung above the blender. then squeezed out this ball of glowing flourescent cactus stuff. yeah that one is bunk. next time try using only cactus skins, blend, boil, and strain. thats the real way. it takes like and hour from start to finish and you get all the good stuff. along with the whole bitter medicine bridge, dont forget the sacred purge when it hits you in an hour. remember. let it all go. the body somehow absorbs all the mescaline before the purge.
