"Scientific fascism" is a phrase that was coined by an Oxford University ethicist professor named Andrew Linzey, who believes that cloning is a form of scientific fascism because we would be creating other beings whose existence would be to serve the dominant group of non-cloned beings.

The concept goes back a lot farther than that, Rat. The concept was quite popular in Mussolini's Italy.

Essentially, it is the use (or misuse) of scientific principles to justify the institution of a fascist state. The most common example of "scientific fascism" is the idea of "social Darwinism", or the idea that individuals who can't "compete" in a society should be left to fend for themselves or (eventually) die off, in a parallel to the "survival of the fittest" seen among wild animals. The whole area of eugenics would be another example.

scientific facism happens when you try to organize and explain social sciences and behaviours with mathematical principles and systems.
