Has anyone heard of this? This is a toad that secrets a venom containing not only DMT but also bufotenin which is a psychedelic. http://www.erowid.org/animals/toads/ If this works, do you think it would be difficult to get this venom without killing (or hurting) the toad? If so, I may need to get a new pet. EDIT: I just read that their poison is known to kill dogs and cats and in larger amounts could kill a human, does anyone know if this is true or just a ploy to keep people away from the psychedelic aspect of it? Also, if it is true, would the DMT still be extractable? EDIT EDIT: After more rersearch it seems that this is entirely possible, essentially you squeeze the venom glands and out comes a quickly drying liquid that can be up to 15% Meo-DMT. In fact, on article on extraction said that up to 25 doses worth can be taken from the toad every 6 weeks or so.

Do you think exotic pet stores would sell them in Michigan? I have a friend who really wants one and I'm more than willing to help him get it.
I don't know that licking a toad is worth it. The fact that the psychoactive part is reffered to as "venom" gives me pause. Anyway, interesting idea. Take good care of the toad.
well in psychedelic shrooms.. the chemical psilocybe is considered a poison to the US DEA so that from a toad is JUST considered a venom.. id try a toad if i could get my hands on one, but they might be expensive to buy, and it just seems weird to lick a toad :/ but id probly do it if i had the chance, and i knew it was legit. what are the other effects of the venom from the toad, any info on that? i spent $80 building a shroom room, so id rather just pick at some of those fruits that i grew. which will be done soon :>
