They aren't getting enough money so 7 teachers, i believe, aren't going to school tomorrow. That means I don't have to go in as I had 3 hours of art and they can't cover it. But its only some of our year that dont have to come as no one else (apart from the people with exams) have that much art/art graphics. We've been "invited to study at home". Thoughts?
yeah England. Its throughout england tomorrow but the Goverment says theyre not breaking. I hope they do. I think quite a few people are gonna be demoted - not fired because we dont have enough teachers.
Teacher unions are necessary, yet they often indirectly bring the general level of education down to the lowest common factor, which really isn't good.
That's why I hate them. The public school system around these parts doesn't teach you shit. The way the unions work, you can't fire half of the teachers just for being crappy teachers; so none of the crappy teachers ever leave and teachers that may be much better can't get a fucking job.
Yeah, but round here we havent got enough teachers as it is so even if they were crappy (which ALL the I.T teachers are) you just gotta live with it and do the best you can.
