During my sleep, from time to time, I sleep on my back and my arm rests on the top of my head. When I wake up, my arm is completly numb. For like a minute or so, it's like I had a dead arm. After a couple of minutes my senses comes back, but it really freaks me out. I really don't wanna lose my arm since I play guitar and I'd be dead without an arm...

What's that? Is it dangerous? Any info on this....

ya tucked it under your head and stopped circulation
    happens to me alot

shake it out and circulation returns..no problem

the only danger is if you completyely cut the circulkation for a long period of time

i hate this though, i always wake up when the phone would ring or something then try answeering with a floppy dead arm....end up knockin it on the floor...

my only suggestion tho would be try adjusting the possition u sleep in maybe put a pillow next to ya and rest yoir arm on it

My brother once fell asleep with his head on his arm. Just his luck- when he woke up his arm was "asleep",or so he thought. His arm didn't go back to normal for more than a year. He was told by doctors that he had Cerebral nerve palsy. I think it's something that rarely happens. We thought he would have to have surgery to fix it. He even had trouble just trying to move his fingers.
