My Dreads Have A Question Once More :)

will the knotty boy tightening gel rot your dreads or any thightening gel period?

I don't know about that man. Never used it, no need to really. KnottyBoy is a company that sells a lot of products and they're trying to make money. More than half the crap they sell is totally uneccesarry. TIME is really the only tool you need.

 

ok well ill just wash it out some time this week and just let em do wat they want thanks for the help

 

my best friend used to use it on her hair. I don't think it'll mold. it hasn't molded hers at all.
The thing that turned me off from it is if you have had the gel for a while, and if there was some stuck like where the top twists on, it flakes off and looks really nasty. I wouldn't want something like that on my head!

yea i like how it keeps em together and stuff ,its got aloe and lemon in it thats all, as long as it wont mold its all good i just really need to know why is it that my tips are really brittle is that a bad thing or is it ok?

I think that stuff is pretty much just aloe vera gel.. which means it'll wash out unlike wax. On the other hand it would be a lot cheaper just to buy aloe vera..
