quick pill question

I know this is probably really repetitive, but I just got some 10mg percocet pills.

What would be lethal to take, and what kind of dose should I take to feel good?

 

too much acetiminophen hurts your liver. You should pry either take 1, which you should feel, or do a cold water extraction if you want to do more than 1 at once. I have friends that have taken 80mg of oxy at once with no tolerance. I would reccomend doing a CWE of two pills.

I would recommend that you take 1, on an empty stomach which makes the biggest difference in the world. If you're going to be smoking while you take one, I would wait until after you smoke and decide if you want to take another because weed, ime, really potentiates the effects of the pill.

one wouldnt do much to me, it depends on how much you weigh. Id say take at least two on an empty stomach. Dont worry about acetaminophen, you'd need to take like eight to do real damage. you have to take quite a bit of any drug to OD, you probably couldnt afford to buy the amount necessary.

 

there's nowhere near enough acetaminophen in 1 pill to hurt your liver. think about it: doctors prescribe perc 10's to patients 2 at a time every 4-6 hours as needed. so thats like 8 per day by prescription.

start with one, and chew it on an empty stomach.
if you dont feel it, take another. if you have no tolerance, you should enjoy just one on an empty stomach. i weigh 145lbs and when I started out taking oxycodone it only took me 1/2 of a perc 10 to get me feeling really good.

if you do get to the point where you need to take more than 5ish at once, it'd probably be better for you if you did a CWE. to do this, look up the instructions on wikipedia by searching Cold Water Extraction

I take all pills on a full stomach. Works out fine. I'm just saying, for those with sensetive stomachs, taking pills without food is a gauranteed bad time. Getting old sucks.

the guy that had them died last night from an overdose. my friend went over to pick up the pills, and arrived just in time to see him being carried out on a stretcher.

 

shit salmon, you're right. I totally forget sometimes that I have a ridiculously strong stomach (dont get nauseous, hardly ever puke, etc), but a friend of mine puked his first time taking oxycodone off just ONE 10mg perc. And it was because he took it on an empty stomach.

So as an adendum on my previous post, just know if you have a sensitive stomach you need to be careful about how you eat your pills

And don't worry about the APAP and shit. I prescribed 7 10/325 Norco's a day
Thats around 2200mgs of APAP A day. My PM Doc said that thats fine and I'm in no danger of hurting myself.
Just to make me happy, I did tests for my Liver and everthing is great. And thats after 2 1/2 yrs. of taking this cocktail

Yeah 5,000mg is getting dangerous. 5-10 grams of APAP is where you don't wanna be. But 2200mg a day....your liver hates you =O

 

Actually my dosage of 2200mgs a day is fine
You don't want to go over 4000 mgs a day

 

Just because its fine doesn't mean your liver isn't doing a lot of work. Just because you're not dying doesn't mean you're liver isn't working as hard as someone who drinks everyday.
