After trying it, how can you not like it?

I've heard politicians, older folks, conservatives, republicans, christians, etc. before say they've tried smoking weed, and for one reason or another still support it being illegal.

i'm sure plenty of politicans have tried it, so how can someone smoke this glorious plant, experience it, and still be against it? Its mind boggling!

some people just dont like it, older people are usually more close minded and give into the media without unbiased research. It just dosnt agree with some people, i know people who tried it once, freaked out, and never want to again.

 

that's just fucking rude and off topic. i doubt you're as old as you say you are... or probably you think real women need to be all made up wityh make up and botax and silicon boobs.

 

i think there against it because its a "drug" and when they think drug, they think heroin addicts lying on the street. when they think of there own experiances, they consider themselfs different because they only did it a few times, or did it in a safe enviroment. they dont understand the people who smoke weed are just like them, they arnt different and that all weed smokers arnt junkies

I tried it and didn't like it.
My blood pressure tends to run sorta low-and pot is like an instant pass out...hell,even second hand.
I do not however think it should be illegal ,for that issue I pretty mush agree with Zen.
Also,many politicians are more worried about supporters than their own morals..thy may even like the green-but they are more concerned with the currency type green.The support of the older/or conservative voters who have never had a puff and still veiw as a danger to our society because of the media portrayal.

maybe they had a really bad tweak the first time haha but i think its what babyhellfire said, even if they did like it they can't go around supporting it because they'd lose a lot of votes from lame people.

 

I always just assumed they were lying through their teeth and had to say that to be politically correct.

 

Most people I've known who didn't like it (after trying it once) didn't actually get high the 1st time. I know I didn't get high the 1st time, and for a while after that I just thought it was a really weak "drug" and not worth all the hype.

 

the first time I smoked, I didn't feel anything at first... so I kept smoking, and smoking, and smoking.... I was really dissapointed because I was like, "Is this it? Is this what the Kottonmouth Kings keep singing about? Is this what people go to jail for? It doesn't do anything!"
