    This has happened before.

Clinton obviously knows she's done but also understand her pushing Obama into July would strain his power going in against McCain, and she's right.

Nastradaumus predicted a female president in 2012 and Clinton has already started planning.

Her admitting defeat and making it easier for Obama would greatly reduce her chance of ever capturing the Democratic nomination let alone the Presidency, nobody likes quiters.

A while back it seemed that Sen. Obama was the stronger candidate for Democrats. That Sen Clinton had high negatives.

Republicans have been medling in Democratic primaries; with Greta Van Sustren's hearts and flowers interview of Hillary and Rush's operation chaos; where Republicans cross over and vote for Her. Republicans should be careful what they wish for.

Pennsylvania has shown Sen Obama to be an empty suit.

A content-free campagain such as Obama has run is particularly suspectible to damage from charachter issues. Pennsylvania voters called Obama out on the Rev Wright controversy and on the clinging to guns and religon gaffe. Despite out spending Hillary 2 to 1, Obama lost by 10%.

Obama reads like a light credit report; where light credit is badly damaged by a single incident of delinquency while a deeply experienced credit profile can take a late payment and the scoring stays strong.

Sen Obama owes his delegate strength to victories in Miss, Ala, Ga, Utah, S. Carolina, Kansas, Iowa, Dakota, Nebraska. How many of these states will vote Democratic in the Fall?

Clinton has won the big blue states: California, New York, New Jersey, Pa, Mass.

Seems Clinton has pulled the crucial swing states of Ohio, Pa. Fla. Tenn. Ariz. Though Obama won Musouri and Iowa.

Democrats need the states of Ohio. Pennsylvania and Florida.

Fly-over voters will be skeptical of Obama after those elitist statements and Wrights wacky rants. Obama represents the wing of the Democratic Party who is in the words of George Cloony: "proud to be out of touch with typical voters"

The National media has sheperded Obama this far, its the voters who are stepping up asking the questions.

If the media had done its job we might have found out about Obama in the snow of New Hampshire or by super Tuesday.

Shades of swift boats the adoring media has shown disinterest in inqury and promoted a flawed candidate who is exposed too late in the game by grass roots inqury.

Seems that "Hope and Change" has run its course.

Hillary is doing Democrats a favor by staying in the race. I'd give her better odds of beating McCain now.

Your right, Republicans are messing around in the Democratic primaries.

In states with open primaries, or what not, Republicans are "crossing over" and voting for Hillary, to help keep her campaign alive and keep the Democrats in limbo.

Also, FOX News. Hillary is getting amazing positive reporting by FOX News Channel. The right leaning channel has pounded Obama, and praised Clinton. While the liberal media at CBS, NBC/MSNBC, CNN, etc. has pounded Clinton and praised Obama.

Surprisingly Clinton's best media ally is FOX, because FOX obviously wants this Democratic limbo to continue.

But this could go to a convention in my opinion. And Hillary has a damn fine argument.

Hillary has won the big blue states, (California, New York, New Jersey, etc. etc. etc.), she was pretty much all the industrialized states, and she has won most of the key swing states (Pennsylvania, Florida, Michigan, Ohio, New Hampshire, etc.).

Hillary is strong with the blue collar moderates, and this is the group of people the Democrats have to win over to win these swing states and take the presidency, and Obama doesn't do well with them.

And, technically, Hillary Clinton has the popular vote on her side. When you count the popular vote of Michigan and Florida, more voters have voted for Hillary than Barack.

So she has many good arguments for the super delegates.

Saw Reverend Jerimiah Wright of the tube last night in an interview, thnk it was CNN, perhaps with Bill Moyer. Seems The Reverend is on some type of speaking tour now, how truly unfortunate for Senator Obama's campagain.

I mean can't Barrack buy this guy an airplane ticket to somewhere......
somewhere far away, like maybe North Korea.

Why would Wright launch a speaking tour at this time, could it really be mere stupidity? could it with a malicious intent to Barrack. A "see that I will speak out type of thing?

Rev. Wright certainly has a chip on his shoulder, a nasty man, dismissive of Sen. Obama stating: " He is a politician, he says what a politician has to say"

    WTF!

Of course the interview gave the program the opportunity to unspool one of those DVD's of Rev. Wright speaking. Ouch! I've never heard such shit in my church. The Rev. seemed unapologetic.

Those DVD's, thats not some kinda Karl Rove sneaking into his Church secretly filming him, those DVD's were produced and sold by Wright.

Holy Cow, we all thought Paris Hilton was stupid for publishing a video. It may not be mere stupididy perhaps its obstinacy.

But its not about Rev Wright......... Its about The Senator.

I remember Boston Garden, Thats where and when John Kerry was nominated for President some four years ago. Barrack was there too, he got some spotlight, gave a speech and interview. Barrack was clearly a comer, a prospect, presidential timber as they say. Already laying the groundwork for bigger and better things.
He couldnt have cut Wright off at this time? at a time he was already laying plans to seek The Presidency?

Who's decision was it to stay with that Church, I mean thats what they have Anglican/ Epispocal's for. Why did the Obama family not seek out a mainstream church in order to fit the profile of a Presidential family?

Did Michelle Obama make that decision? Did they receive any advice from their politial family to make a change? What kind of judgement skills were used in the decision to stay in a situation clearly destructive to US race relations in general and the Obama presidential campagain specificly?

I was unaware that a person's religion was a test for political office.

Article VI of the U.S. Constitution specifically states that “no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States.” Religious qualifications for state and local office were struck down by the Supreme Court in the 1961 case Torcaso v. Watkins.

I think in many states and local counties atheists cannot run for office.

But their is no religious test to become President, and damn right.

But it doesn't mean that voters and the media don't have a right to pound someone over religion.

During the late winter, this forum had discussion on the advisability of electing a Mormon for President. I pretty much agreed with the sentiment at that time based upon the worldview of that group being too far out of the mainstream.

The discussions on Candidate Romney were not surrounding the constitutionality of his candidacy as a religious test but merely his attractiiveness and electability as a candidate to the members here.

I take the same approach here and hope that no double standard will be applied.

I think all politicians should take the stance: Don't ask. Don't tell. Isn't that what Bill Clinton did with the military?

I would respect all them more if when ask a regilious question, they stated that their religion was a personal matter and not a topic for discussion. I'd vote for that person.

Why should these senator's even have to answer questions about the churches they attend, I rather hear about what they know about the SPP. All candidates are now senators they have voted or allowed this administration to appoint people to this board. The SPP is formulating how Canadians, Mexicans and US citizens will live and carry on business in this century. To me that's important, very important, especially since it's now being performed behind closed doors with no oversight.

If I was a Candidate and had a membership in a country club that, say. banned blacks and jews then that would be a problem.

I would be judged by our mainstream media as endorsing the standards of my country club. Exclusionary.

I dont have any links, but surely people remember this sort of thing happening.

Americans of good will are anxious for racial reconcilation.

Obama seems like the right person to help bring people together.

In New York City the Officers who were on trial for the shooting of Steven Bell have just been aquited. Inter-racial anxiety is high. Steven Bell is the guy who was shot up at his bachelor party in Jamicia Queens. 3 police officers discharged 5o rounds.
This opened the wound of a privious shooting of Amadou Dialo who fell under a 40 round fuilsade approx 10 years ago.

Senator Obama had asked for calm, resulting in Rev. Sharpton chiding Obama for grandstanding in front of white voters.

I feel for Senator Obama caught in a tight situation.
