I like their first album. The second one isn't too bad, but they started to get a little redundant at this point.
I love Thievery Corporation.. it's just chill and mellow. Thinking of them made me think of Telefon Tel Aviv, I like them waaaay better
several of the broadcasters on kvmr actually play their stuff. pretty good mostly. at least i can't think of anything of theirs i didn't like of what i've heard, other then their stupid name, but i guess everybody's got to call themselves something. by now though, everyone knows them by it so if they chainged it no one would know at first who they were. i wouldn't say i'm a PHYCHO-fan, but i like em. right now i'm diggin an outfit called rogue element. (couple of brits i think, with a bunch of analog modules) =^^= .../\...
marching the hate machines out into the sun (by thiervery corporation). teh-horace's picture seems to fit with that in an aligorical sort of a way. i heard that sometime this morning, i think it was on martin web's energy report, unless it was on skip alan smith and michael ben's dreamwalk. "electronica for chilllllinn", to quote deviate, is precisely where i'm at. =^^= .../\...
I love all Thievery Corp I've ever heard. My favorite studio album is Cosmic Game, followed closely by Richest Man in Babylon. I love their psychedelic Rastafari vibe, it's just so fuckin' chill!
thievery corp is a cool chilled out band. like their music alot, though some of it gets a bit repetitive.
