Hello. I have been meditating for about a month now I think... Not everyday, almost everyday.. I've been noticing when I feel anxiety (which I feel often), or I'm on the spot, or I see a good looking girl, or some sort of emotion rises up within me a certain body part seems to move continuously until I force those thoughts from my head.. If I feel anxiety, so when I start to get a flood of thoughts about something negative, one of my shoulders rises and becomes tense. I have heard that during meditation you can get down to your nervous system(?) Did I somehow attach emotions to body parts? :S

OK I did little bit of research right now and I found out that I have been getting essential tremors, my head does the yes or no movements.

    Thanks

Im new to meditation to, and im not sure on connecting emotion with body parts. But I have anxiety in the same situations that u do, except i start to stutter a little and look away from people. Over the past few months of meditation ive gained ways of relaxing in the situations just by relaxing myself in the same way i begin meditating.

A lot of people store their emotions in different parts of the body. The fact that you recognise it so clearly is good, because it can helkp you to overcome these things also.
