first Enron trial nears

    I've heard almost nothing about the Enron trials in the American corporate news media, yet they can talk everyday for almost 3 years straight about Martha Stewart and Scott Peterson,

    Ken Lay finally got arrested too. Bush doesn't refer to him as 'Kenny Boy' anymore. Now it's just "Mr. Lay."

    I doubt seriously if we WILL hear anything about it until AFTER the election in our medias. What with the Bush connection and all...

    I bet Lay gets less time in prison than Martha did. (If he gets any at all.)

    You can bet his money is safe in his Cayman Island accounts regardless of whether he gets sent to some elite Federal country club detention facility for the odd few years.

    Hell, a prison stretch for these sorts is something they put on their executive profiles and compare with each other over cocktails.
