You guys can sit there and whine and bitch about the situation and piss your $600 away thinking that it is nothing, or you can use it to improve your financial situation. That $600 will pay for 25 percent of the gasoline used in a YEAR for the average American (even at $4.00 a gallon). You don't think that will provide temporary relief to many Americans? You say that it is going directly into the oil companies pockets, well isn't your money going there anyways? If you have a problem with that then limit your fuel use. Nobody is telling you how you have to spend this money, why not spend it in the best way that will benefit YOU? Instead of fucking complaining about everything ALL of the time, why not offer some suggestions to help some people here.

BTW, the idea that you are going to try and "fuck them" by not spending your money is ludacris. You are not fucking anybody but yourself. That is, the idea of this stimulus package is to improve the economy. By trying to prevent that result, who do you think you are hurting? Not trying to tell you that you have to do anything specific with this money, but just be smart about it.

    Here's my suggestion.

Wacky and Shane99X can "asspool" and ride an ass instead of driving a car.

It's economical, saves money, convenient, plus both of you can take turns having sex with the jackass at the nearest rest stop.

Just an "elitist" suggestion for a couple of dumbfuck Americans like the two of you ... [IMG]

Not a coincidence. We here in California usually receive the gas hikes first and higher than the rest of the country except for Hawaii. We were one of the first to be sold deregulation of our utilities, on the promise that it would lower our rates and suffered through the Enron rape, while Bush and Cheney counted the profits of their friends and refused to step in on a federal level to minimize the damage. Sure we are the most vocal. We take the point of the shaft most times, before the rest of the country ever sees it coming.

And a person's weight or religion are personal issues and should not even figure into the discussion.

What part of "we don't have the money" do you not understand dumbass?

The country is trillions and trillions of dollars in the hole.
How is a $150 billion economic "stimulus package" going to fix the problem?

This is like sticking a bandaid to a man hemorrhaging from a massive headwound.

Just saw a little thing on the Today Show where merchants like Walmart, etc. are targetting these rebates. Was this why they were held up until May so they could get their marketing platforms in place? They are offering higher savings if you come in with your check and put it into a gift card type thing. Wow this is really going to help the poor by having them splurge on retail goods!

What was it Bush told us to do to help out after 09/11? SHOP! Is that his answer to everything? How does that help an individual or a family?

The poor will use their checks to put fuel in their tanks to get back and forth to work and food on their tables. But those that aren't really hurting at the moment may sell out and buy an extra ipod, or a new barbeque for the summer, but come later in the year they wonder why they wasted those funds. They should be aware that fuel and food prices are going to continue to rise.

I care because I watch my community work overtime just to make do.

Cheap shots about Scooter won't cut it with me. Maybe you think they are cutting, but they just demonstrate a last ditch effort on your part to distract and cloud the real issues. Something Clinton and a lot of the politicians (both republican and democrat) of today are very polished at doing.

Bullshit?? How is being concerned about housing and feeding one's family bullshit?

My concern is all that these rebates will do is lull a market that is supposed to be the hub of our economy into a false sense of security.

    What is your chief concern?

I don't resort to republican or democrat anything. I am an individual and my prime concern is individual rights and well being of myself and my community. I don't think I fit into any political party of mindset. And I continue to question how Wall Street is ever going to have the individual's best interest at heart. I've been promised lower rates and higher returns only to find that I never receive lower rates or higher returns. And right now I am watching a market that is supposed to lift all boats and self correct, being helped out by the least able to expend funds, while those with extra capital are being protected.

    Calm down folks.

If we're trillions and trillions of dollars in the hole, the question is, where is all that $150 billion coming from?

Some of it will come from foreing borrowings, mainly China, Japan, etc., with interest of course.

While most of it will simply be created out of thin air... :jester:

Yes, I think we need to consider where it's coming from, does our president or congress make this clear to the voting the population. A check is nice, but where and who do we pay the money back to in the long run?

It helps the market right now what will it do in the long run?

I'm not even a conservative. But you want to know why when obama is called elitist, people believe it? Because of these kinds of comments from liberals like you, that's how we get stuck with a Bush for 8 fucking years because no one is listening to any valid point you might be making. Vote for change you redneck sister-humpers! yeah, that'll win those house seats...

You play right into the stereotype of east coast elitist even while believing the stereotype about the other guys. just dumb.

Bush puts on chambrays and trots around his Texas compound, and we all buy him as one of the people. Even though his family's bottomline is more than most of us can even imagine. And always has been.

The Clinton's are seen as protectors of the common man, but I don't think Bill and Hillary even know what a working person even is. They probably have their condo in Dubai already outfitted like Guiligani's, and many other politicians. They follow their marketers advice. You think they raised Chelsea ask the nannys.

None of todays candidates are anything but elitists, republican or democrat. They all get their money without really working or really worrying about how they are going to pay their bills.

You don't have the fucking brain cells to realize that you're being butt fucked, inside and out.

You Republicunt, Neo-Conservative, inbred morons just bend over and obey... :jester:

That's right, keep voting Republicunt, and I'll keep saying what a bunch of dumbfucks you really are. :jester:
