Students Recruited to Harvest Marijuana

I found this on HighTimes and thought it would be an awesome job to have as a stoner: It's not good that they are dropping out to harvest the pot..but whatever it's their own choice.

I am already planning on moving to Vancouver when I graduate (next year) with a couple of friends and we're going to rent an apartment. Maybe I could have this job and get to know the growers/get good hookups.

 

Cleaning somebody elses pot is slave labor.. it's fuckin tedious if you just want the bud and no leaf or if you just don't want stems.. I got tired of it 4 hours ago separating my own stuff. Plus chopping down the babies isan't much fun, it's like sticky murder.

 

man i love chopping weed, i sit in bed at ngiht and do it.
and the leaf around the bud isnt bad either.

that's sick. 20 or 30 bones for just picking the harvest. i'd probably do that job for free, well free meaning a handful of nugs in each pocket.

And that is QUITE a bit of money. I know people who have college degrees and don't make that much ...

 

Dude, somone could pay me what I'm getting paid now, $10/hour, and I'd cut down, trim, cure, and roll joint and blunts all day.

As long as I got free kind bud too!

 

yeh anything weed related is great, dealing is not waht everyone does caus it can be work getting customers, staying away from bad people, staying away form teh law, etc. but then trimiing, handling, rolling, all that stuff, thats the perfect life of a stoner.

 

Hell yeah they'd probably let you take home a few good handfuls too.... I would love that so much..

 

i think these guyys go out into fields to find lone bushes planted all round the place. so i dont think youd really be able to take that much home, maybe a few grams
